Federal regulation requires that an individual applying for re-certification must verify
that he/she has performed nursing related services for monetary compensation within
the two (2) years since their most recent certification. Verfication of employment must be
obtained from a licensed health care facility or agency. As an employer you may use this
option to verify that a person requesting a certificate renewal meets that requirement.
