Account Types Test Navigation Registration Note on Test Content Survey Results

You may use your MasterCard® or Visa® credit card to open an account through our secure server. Tests become more cost effective as the number requested increases, and differing account types allow for flexible use as follows:

When you open an individual membership you will select the number of tests you would like, and then you will be issued a pin number which gives you access to a unique test. Please be certain to record your pin number as it will be required to either complete an unfinished exam or to start another exam from a series. Every time you complete a test and your account has tests remaining, a new unique test will be created which is accessed with the same pin number. This account is appropriate for one person wishing to take a single test or successive tests, or multiple individuals as long as they were testing at different times.
When you would like to have the option of testing a number of people simultaneously such as a training program, then it would be appropriate to open a group account. For a single group pin number, unique tests will be created for a range of series IDs. Individuals will access their unique exam using both the pin number and series ID.

We would like to make this as valuable a learning experience as we possibly can, and one way to support that goal is to make sure you have answered every question correctly before being allowed to move on to the next question. At the conclusion of the exam you will be given a score report indicating the percentage of items answered correctly on your first attempt, which is a reasonable estimate of how you would have scored on an actual exam. In addition, you will be given a vocabulary list which contains key words and phrases from questions and correct answers that you missed on your first attempt.

As you take your exam look for the following features on each test item screen:

You may use your Keyboard to select your answer (press A, B, etc.) or to move to the next question (up and right arrow keys and page up).
You may also go on to the next question using the Next Item button.
The Help button brings you here!
Press Stop Exam to receive your exam score report. Note that once you stop the exam it may not be resumed!
At the conclusion of the exam we would truly appreciate you filling out our exit survey, as we are constantly trying to improve on the learning experience, and we value your input.

You may use your MasterCard® or Visa® credit card to open a practice test account. You must confirm that you have read our terms of service agreement before being allowed to submit your request. Our transaction server provides secure encryption, and any information you provide will only be used for the purpose of taking this practice exam. The information you must provide includes:

Credit card: Enter your Card Number, and Expiration Date in the format mm/yyyy (05/2005 for May of 2005). The Amount is calculated as you make your test selection.
Which Test: We have set up a number of exams to model specific state test plans (number of items, and content). If you are not testing in one of those states, then select the Nationwide exam, a seventy-two (72) item exam.
How Many: Note that tests become more economical as you purchase more. There is no refund for unused exams.

Items on the practice exam were created by CNA/STNA subject matter experts throughout the country, but there is no guarantee that an item you receive pertains specifically to your state's curriculum.
Some items on the exam will take a form not commonly found on certification exams such as questions that contain phrases similar to "all of the following except" and "which of the following is not", or an answer such as "all of the above". Although those items may not be ideal instruments for final evaluation, the content will still reflect the role of a CNA/STNA, requires critical thinking, and will contribute to this learning experience.
