Minimum System Requirements
Headmaster Gold© requires that you at least have the following:
Version Information
New Customers wanting a demo version of Headmaster Gold© should download and install Gold15.exe and use for a five (5) day trial period.
Current DOS Users: Our preference is that you are running Headmaster version 15. Those of you running Headmaster version 10 or 11 should upgrade your data structure to version 15 before attempting to use Headmaster Gold© Please contact us for upgrade procedures. If you do not know which version of Headmaster you are running, do not download anything!! A version mismatch will corrupt your data!

Current DOS Users
Headmaster Gold© is completely compatible with the DOS version of Headmaster©.
You may use both applications on the existing database. Three data sets that may require additional modifications are immunizations, custom demographic fields, and teacher names. Use of the existing immunization records and custom demographic field’s data will require the user to design the data entry screens to match the existing data. The existing teacher data set will continue to function, but there are no provisions in Headmaster Gold for editing that data set. You may use the DOS version to edit the existing teacher data set, and then import that data into the new teacher data set in Headmaster Gold©. Teacher information will be entered into the Headmaster Gold© student/teacher database with a prefix such as ‘80’.
Limitations of Warranty and Liability
Headmaster Gold© is provided on an “as is” basis, without any other warranties or conditions, expressed or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantable quality, merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, or those arising by law, statute, usage of trade or course of dealing. The user assumes the entire risk as to the results and performance of Headmaster Gold©. Neither we nor our dealers or suppliers shall have any liability to you or any other person or entity for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages whatsoever, including but not limited to loss of revenue or profit, lost or damaged data or other commercial or economic loss, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages or they are foreseeable; or for claims by a third party. The limitations in this section shall apply whether or not the alleged breach or default is a breach of a fundamental condition or term, or a fundamental breach. Some states/countries do not allow the exclusion or limitation of liability for consequential or incidental damages so the above limitation may not apply to you. It will be assumed that users of Headmaster Gold© will have in place a regularly maintained data backup procedure.
